Graphics Design Classes:

Our focus is to teach you how to creatively deliver great brand promises. In developing a brand we carefully consider and incorporate the visible elements to form a unique brand (with colors, design, logotype, name, and symbol) that together identify and distinguish the brand design in your viewers mind. We focus in grooming you to strongly express your design ideas in creative outcome.

Recommendation:
This class is most suitable for any persons with basic computer knowledge and aims to be a professional graphics designer within a short period of time.

Methodology:
Sessions focus on concepts of different topics in CoralDraw, Adobe Fireworks and PhotoShop with practical implementation in classes.

Course Contents:
Coral Draw, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop

Course Outline:
– Introduction to Corel Draw, Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop
– Using the right tools and colors
– Learn how to design logos, Fliers and banners
– Editing and cleaning images for web use and other purposes
– How to Remove the Background of an Image in Adobe Fireworks/Photoshop
– Learn how to delete or remove images from an existing background
– Creating Gif images
– Text Effects
– Get certified

Course Requirement:

• Trainee should possess basic computer knowledge
• Trainee should attend trainings with a laptop (+ access to internet if available).
• Trainee should have installed the below software in their laptop before training day:

           – Coral Draw (version 5, 7 or 8)
           – Adobe Fireworks (CS5 or CS6)
           – Adobe Photoshop

Course Information:
Course Duration: 3 weeks
Date & Time: Mon, Wed and Fri (OR Saturdays only) by 10:00am to 1:00pm prompt.
Training Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Admission Guideline:
A trainee is considered “Qualified” candidate for ICT Training Programme if he/she meets the below guidelines before admission into a class:

1. Provide proof of payment for the approved YEEC membership registration plan relating to ICT Training eligibility criteria
2. Provide YEEC membership code.
3. Must have selected ICT as the preferred  training programme during registration in registration form.
4. Provide a Government approved ID as a means of registration verification.
