YEEC Africa is very strategic in her modus operandi. We seek to provide trainings and entrepreneurial skills that represents the realities of the 21st century where her interested members can latch onto, add value to the society and create wealth for themselves. This is why we came up with the YEEC Africa Professional Photography and Cinematography Training.
The world is evolving and technological advancement is on the rise and so it is imperative that anyone who must meet up, keeping abreast and remain relevant must be technology oriented. The word “online” is slowly but steadily phasing out “live” and thus the exertion of energy and deployment of technology and skills to get the best of presentation on screen. YEEC Africa seeks to bring this opportunity to the door steps of interested Africans who do not have the financial wherewithal to afford same.
The professional photography and cinematography training will be one of international standard, facilitated by companies of high repute, equipping trainees on the know-how of photography and cinematography, giving them the needed push and confidence for self-startups or employment by the relevant industry.
Aim
The aim of YEEC Africa Professional Photography and Cinematography Training is to improve the quality of life of Africans through inclusive growth in the digital world.
Objectives
a) To raise ten thousands (10,000) digital professionals on the Africa continent on an annual basis.
b) To impact tangible skills to individuals as a tool for creativity, global impact and wealth creation.
c) To foster the emergence of new startup companies, products and services.
d) To encourage homegrown content, telling the African story as well as putting the African continent on the limelight in the world of Photography and Cinematography.
The YEEC Africa Professional Photography and Cinematography Training covers the following aspects a. Cinematography b. Motion graphics c. Videography d. Photography e. Visual communication f. Acoustical and audio Engineering. At the end of the training, all successful participants will be certified and shown the dynamics on how to get into the industry.

Eligibility Criteria
The following persons are eligible to partake in the YEEC Africa Professional Photography and Cinematography Training:
- Persons who have enrolled as members of YEEC and paid the applicable annual subscription fees
- Persons who are not members of YEEC, but are willing to join YEEC to maximize the YEEC Professional Photography and Cinematography Training opportunity.
- The membership categories eligible to access and participate in the YEEC Professional Photography and Cinematography Training are Professional (engineering and non-engineering) membership categories of YEEC Africa as well as the interested public.
- A person is deemed an “enrolled” member of YEEC upon his or her completion of registration with YEEC, payment of YEEC annual subscription fees and issuance of a unique membership code.
Requirements
The requirements to enroll for this training are:
- You must be African
- You must have basic knowledge of computer
- You must have a passion for personal growth and community development.
Application Process
Application opens from the 1st of July 2020. To apply for the Professional Photography and Cinematography Training, log on to www.yeecafrica.com/programmes and choose Professional Photography and Cinematography under the Programme tab on the homepage. Fill out the application form as you ensure you provide all required information. After successful completion of the application form, applicant shall receive a confirmatory email with further instructions and information on the training venue, time and other necessary instructions.
Application Deadline
This training will be open all year round but will be done in batches. It is therefore imperative that you apply on time to join the next batch of trainees.
Rules and Regulations
- Eligibility criteria as stated in Section 3 above must be met for your application to be valid.
- Must be of good conduct all through the training period and beyond, and must be good ambassadors of YEEC Africa.
